DVA Support Services for Veterans

In Australia, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) provides in-home support services to help eligible veterans and their families live safely and independently at home. These services are mainly offered through programs like Veterans’ Home Care and the Community Nursing Program, which include domestic assistance, personal care, respite, home and garden maintenance, medication support, and clinical nursing care. Recently, the Australian Government increased funding to improve support for veterans, boost their health and wellbeing, and reduce the need for early residential aged care.

At First Choice, we provide domestic assistance, personal care, respite, and medication support to eligible veterans. Our services are available in the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Mackay, Hervey Bay, and Ipswich areas.
